3. Why We Collect It (Legal Basis)

Contact form: We process your data based on our legitimate interest in responding to your inquiry (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).

Beta reader signup: We process your data based on your explicit consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You must actively check a consent box before submitting. You may withdraw consent at any time.

4. How We Use Your Data

  • To respond to contact form submissions
  • To communicate beta reading opportunities and related updates to beta readers who have opted in
  • To verify your age meets our minimum requirement (16 years)

We do not use your data for marketing, profiling, automated decision-making, or any purpose other than those stated above.

5. Who We Share Your Data With

We do not sell, trade, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. Your data is stored on our web hosting provider's servers and is only accessible by authorized administrators of Phoenix Multimedia.

6. How Long We Keep Your Data

  • Contact messages: Retained for up to 2 years, then permanently deleted.
  • Beta reader data: Retained for as long as your consent remains active. When you unsubscribe or request deletion, your personal data is immediately scrubbed from our records.

How to Exercise Your Rights

Beta readers: Every email we send includes links to view your data, download it, and delete it. You can also use the unsubscribe link in any email.

Everyone: You can email us at contact@phoenixmultimedia.online with any data-related request. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Children's Privacy

Our beta reader program requires participants to be at least 16 years old. We verify age during signup using date of birth. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If we discover that a person under 16 has signed up, we will immediately delete their data.

9. Cookies and Analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use our website. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect anonymous usage data such as pages visited, time on site, and general geographic location. This data is aggregated and does not personally identify you.
